Prius V:
Good: the hitch once installed looks solid for light loads.
Bad: Did not receive the drawbar as stated in description, have asked draw-tite and amazon. We'll see what happens
Ugly: As others stated, packing is non-existent. Only small cardboard rolls on the main cross bar. Mounting areas and hitch exposed. Product arrived with many, big scratches along the mounting brackets which needed repainting.
Receiver is about 1.5 inches below the bumper, could have been a tighter fit.
Mounting was not too much trouble. Need 17mm socket and offset wrench to remove existing bolts. 19mm to put new ones back on.
One last thing...Installation on a Prius V requires removal of the driver side tie-down bracket. Instructions do not re-install it. If you want to , you will need to grind about 1/4 inch off the existing bracket to allow the holes to line up.
Too bad about the Bad and Ugly, The product alone...would have given it 4 stars.
